I have been using plants to dye wool since living in rural West Berkshire. This lovely countryside has provided the inspiration to combine two longstanding interests - wild flowers and plants, and knitting with natural fibres especially wool.

While the culinary and medical uses of plants are well known, their dyeing properties have been forgotten. My work revives this craft in a beautiful, contemporary and practical way.

I produce soft knitting wools - now mainly cashmere - in a varying range of exceptional plant derived colours. I sell from my home in Ashampstead and at occasional events.
