I have been using plants to dye wool since moving to rural West Berkshire a few years ago. This lovely countryside has provided the inspiration to combine two longstanding interests - wild flowers and plants, and knitting with natural fibres especially wool.

I now sell plant dyed knitting wool in a wide range of colours as well as simple handknitted pieces made exclusively with my wool.

While the culinary and medical uses of plants are well known, their dyeing properties have been forgotten. My work revives that tradition in a beautiful, contemporary and accessible form.
